Eric finally arrived safely in Japan on a beautiful sunny day.  These 29 missionaries are the newest in the mission and the Mission President said that this group of missionaries can really sing!!  More pictures and updates will be posted soon.

Hello Everyone, This is another report from yours truly Elder Stevens. Japan hasn't changed much this week except that all of the cherry blossoms or Sakura have died. :(  It was very sad but I am glad that I was able to see them. How have all of your weeks been? We officially got transfer calls this morning and guess what, Elder Cannon is leaving.  I will miss playing music with him. We met with another Chinese person yesterday named W... He is super nice and is getting baptized on the 11th of May. He is really good friends with K... and T...so I think this is going to go by very smoothly. Fingers Crossed. We set the baptismal date with him yesterday when we were teaching him with K... I think that this helped K... a lot because he asked us what would happen if he couldn't get baptized because of his parents. I think that it probably put baptism in the front of his mind again. Yes! A Palace Adventure...

Hey everyone! How's it going?  Well another week has come and gone with a lot of sweet adventures.  I would like to talk about 2 of them in this email. As some of you have probably noticed on my Facebook page, we went with one of our investigators to tour the Imperial Palace and it was so sweet!  It's in the middle of Tokyo and it is so weird when you first see it because it's just a big forest and lawns in the middle of these huge skyscrapers.  They showed us some of the old guard towers as well as the old Imperial Tower where the emperor lived in a long time ago. Unfortunately, it had been burned down so only the foundation remains today.  What I loved most about the tour however was all of the old stories that they told us.  The first one was about 47 Samurai warriors.  Their master was a warlord but he offended the Emperor by trying to kill another warlord who hurt his honor.  The Emperor commanded the other warlord to comm...

    Hello everybody!   It's nice to finally be able to email you from Japan!  First off I'd just like to answer some questions.  I got mom's letter on friday and it was so cool to get a letter!  Thanks a lot!  I am sending a letter out today so hopefully you will receive it in 10ish days.  We can't wait to get your care package because they don't have american candy here at all!  Its terrible. my companions nearly mobbed me when they found out I had some jolly ranchers left over from the flight. lol  Thank you so much for all of your emails.  Its soo good to hear from all of you and I hope that you enjoy reading my emails as much as I enjoy reading yours.  Well now to the good stuff.   Well first off, I was assigned to one of the 2 english speaking areas in all of Japan.  I guess the Lord was reading the last email I sent that said I would miss singing hymns in English. lol At...
